Tourism Drôme

The must-haves

These few suggestions are just a sample of what you can experience here: for you, it might be taking a bol of air at the top of the peaks, or go and meet the inhabitants who make the Vercors. For others, the call of history or nature will be even stronger.

The Tour de Crest is to be discovered, relive the resistance at the Memorial Museum of Vassieux en Vercors. Further north, the palais du facteur Cheval unveils its mystery, the shoe is the honor at Romans and prehistory reveals its secrets at the grottes de la Luire. Further south, the villages of Mirmande or La Garde-Adhémar will charm you.

And to discover the exceptional fauna and flora, mountain pastures, forests, Natura 2000 sites of the parc des baronnies provençales and the Vercors Park are natural treasures. The “lavender postcard” spots will make your friends dream !

So many reasons to come and recharge your batteries in the Vercors and have a wonderful time.

The vineyards and gastronomy

Your taste buds will crave for more : 1400 hectares of vines spread over several AOC will allow you to discover Clairette and Crémant de Die, but also still wines.
Treat yourself to local specialities : ravioles dioises aux herbes, picodon, honey, walnuts, Diois lamb, … to be found on the markets and at the many local producers

The lavender is part of the landscape and producers open their doors for wellness products but also gourmet recipes.

The Drôme valley has many organically cultivated farmlands, farmers have made the Diois the one of the first organic regions in France, you will therefore be able to find many authentic and quality products. Moreover, the Bio-vallée association aims to make the valley a reference territory in terms of sustainable development.
