Camping La Pinède by the river: Welcome to Die
It is in Die, in a small town in the Vercors Natural Park, that you will enjoy a place and atmosphere with a unique spirit. In a preserved natural setting, on the banks of the Drôme river, our campsite The Pinède is the ideal place to swim, recharge your batteries and rediscover yourself !
With direct access to the river, you can relax there after an aqua gym session in our heated swimming pool. A peaceful space in a green setting, located near the river Drôme.
You will find an ideal site for your short or long stays and the practice of water sports (canoeing, swimming) but also cycling, hiking, canyoning, climbing or simply lazing around.
Atypical place and full of charm, the town of Die is in the heart of the Massif du Vercors, bordered by limestone cliffs, surrounded by high mountains and forests.

Ideal campsite for canoeing
The Drôme is considered to be a fairly wild spot
The melting snow brings the river to life in the spring and in the summer the Drôme is calm again, allowing for canoeing and kayaking.
Canoeing down the Drôme is offered from the campsite and open to all, campsite residents or not.
You must be over 6 years old, be able to swim 25 metres and be able to immerse yourself and have no medical contraindications.
You need a mobile phone, sun protection (T-shirt rather than cream), suitable shoes (flip-flops are not allowed), hat, water, bag to take your rubbish with you
We provide the equipment (canoe, life jacket, paddles, water bottles and helmets), and we drive you.

Deposit of 5 euros per person to be paid within 24 hours of registration.
The deposit will not be reimbursed except in the case of cancellation by the hirer. It will be requested by bank transfer or credit card at the time of booking.
Bring: suitable shoes, hat, T-shirt, (the river does not like sun cream!), water, bag to take your waste with you
Several descents are possible depending on the river conditions, between half a day and a day, from Pont de Quart upstream to the village of Pontaix.
- Pont de Quart- Campsite: 9 km: pleasant sporting walk, on a more sinuous and wild part
- Campsite-Pontaix: 11 km: the river widens, the plain allows you to observe the mountains and to stop on the banks for a break.
- Pont de Quart-Camping 20 km: this is the “day” version of the descent! to enjoy a long walk with family or friends

Forget your car when you go canoeing, as the canoeing departures are directly from the campsite.
