What can we do at our campsite?
We are on the banks of the River Drôme, where you can swim, play and go down the river in rubber rings. We offer canoe trips from the campsite. We have 2 swimming pools, and are at the start of very pleasant walks and hikes.
What to do in Die?
Die is a very dynamic town considering its small size, and many cultural activities are organised there. You will find a theatre, a cinema, a history museum, and several art and craft galleries.
You can also discover local products and how they are produced (cheeses, medicinal oils, and more).
What to do in the surroundings ?
Between the Vercors mountains, the Drôme bio-valley and the natural pools of the Roanne valley, the nature around us is worth visiting! Explore on foot, by bike (standard, mountain or gravel) or by car. There are also via ferrata routes, climbing routes, canyoning and paragliding for enthusiasts.
I haven’t received a booking confirmation or entry voucher. What should I do?
You can check your spam: you have received confirmation of your booking on receipt of the deposit and will receive an e-mail for the balance one month before your stay, as well as confirmation of receipt of the deposit.
Is it possible to arrive outside reception opening hours?
Yes, you have the “late arrival” option which allows you on certain dates to arrive between 7pm and 9pm. You will have received the code and mobile home number so you can get there in peace on your arrival. We’ll get to know each other the next day!
Are pets allowed in all areas of the campsite?
Yes, our dogs and cats friends that are microchipped and vaccinated (excluding categories 1 and 2) are allowed, but must be kept on a leash. Please bring their up-to-date vaccination record with you.
What are the refund conditions in the event of cancellation?
If you have taken out cancellation insurance, the insurance company will confirm whether or not the cancellation is covered. If you have not taken out insurance, if you cancel more than 30 days in advance, the deposit will be retained by the campsite. Less than 30 days, the balance will be credited. Consult our general terms and conditions of sale on our website.
Is it possible to change my booking?
You can change your booking by email at least 21 days before the original date of arrival. For further information, please contact our reception.
Do I need a deposit?
The deposit is €300 for rentals and Freecamps. You can pay it before your stay with Swikly to speed up your arrival.
A deposit is also required for borrowed items (extension cords, adapters, games, and more.).
What documents do I need to provide when I arrive?
Nothing, just give us the name/email used for the booking
What happens on arrival?
Together we check the booking details, present the campsite’s app and activities and set some guidelines for a peaceful coexistence during your stay.
Is wifi free and available throughout the estate?
Wifi is free out of season and charged for from 1 July to 31 August, in order to ensure that use is reasonable and fair.
Are the entrances and exits to the campsite controlled by an electric gate? What are its opening hours?
Yes, there is an electric gate at the entrance to the campsite. The gate does not open between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to limit traffic and ensure campers can sleep peacefully.
If you need to arrive or depart out of these hours, you will need to park outside and walk to your accommodation. The chalets are not affected by this restriction as they are located before the barrier (see the map for more details).

Are sheets and towels included in the accommodation?
No, towels are not included in the accommodation. Nor bedsheets, except for the Premium category. You can also rent them as an option:

Check-in for rental properties is from 4pm.
Check-in for a pitch from 2pm.
What time do we have to vacate our accommodation?
Check-out time for rentals is before 11 a.m., and before 12 p.m. for campsites pitches.
Is it possible to choose a location?
You can request a specific pitch, which will be confirmed by the campsite. The campsite reserves the right to change pitches if absolutely necessary.
To ensure you get a specific pitch, you can choose the ‘guaranteed pitch’ option for €20.
Can a tent be added next to a mobile home?
No, it is not allowed to put a tent next to the mobile home for safety reasons (parking and circulation of cars and emergency services).
Are all mobile homes air-conditioned?
The mobile homes in the Premium range are air-conditioned. Very often, the nights are cool in the pine forest and air conditioning is not necessary.
Does the mobile home have a parasol?
Mobile homes of the Riviera, Standard and Escapade category have an open terrace and a large parasol.
Which rental properties have a covered terrace?
Trendy mobile homes, and those in the Comfort category, lodges and chalets have a covered terrace.
Can I park my car or van on a site?
Camping pitches are for tents, caravans, motorhomes and vans.
Are mobile homes equipped with dishwashers?
Dishwashers are available in Premium mobile homes.
Do you have accommodation adapted for people with reduced mobility?
We have a chalet adapted for people with reduced mobility, designed for 2 people, with the possibility for 2 other people to sleep in the pull-out bed in the living room.
Is there TV in the mobile homes?
The mobile homes in the Premium category have a TV. For the others, it is an option you need to reserve.
Aquatic areas :
Is the pool area open in low season?
The pool area opens as soon as the campsite opens
Are swimming caps and briefs compulsory at the pool?
No, but they are strongly recommended. We tolerate mid-thigh swimming shorts.
Can we eat and drink around the pool?
Signs indicate the pool rules. Food is forbidden and water in plastic containers is tolerated during hot weather.
Is the pool supervised?
The swimming pool is not supervised and children are the responsibility of their parents.
What are the opening times for the aquatic centre?
The pools are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day
Is the pool heated?
The pool is heated by a heat pump, depending on weather conditions (tempered to around 23 degrees Celsius).
Is sunbathing free?
Yes, you can of course enjoy the deckchairs by the pool.
Are pets allowed in the pool area?
No, for obvious reasons of hygiene, our animal friends are not allowed in the aquatic area.
Entertainment:
Are all the events open to the public without booking?
All events are open to the public, but some can be booked in advance.
At what age are children allowed to take part in activities?
Children aged 6 and over can take part in the activities.
When do the animations start in the season?
Activities start at the beginning of the school holidays and run until the end of August.
Should theme evenings be reserved?
Theme evenings at the restaurant must be booked in advance.
Where can I find the animations’ program?
The animations’ program is displayed in several places around the campsite and is also available on the campsite’s app.
Until what time in the evening do the events last?
We endeavour to finish the evening entertainment at around 11.00 p.m. to allow campers to fall asleep peacefully.

Is the campsite close to the town centre?
The campsite is 1.5 km away from the town centre, 5 minutes away by car and 35 minutes away on foot.
Where is the nearest tourist office?
Die’s tourist office is 1.5 km away, and the team will give you all the information you need.
Can you walk to a supermarket?
The Lidl and Intermarché supermarkets are a 15-minute walk from the campsite.
Is the campsite served by public transport?
No. However, Die station is a 25-minute walk away and offers TER and bus services to Gap, Valence and the Col du Rousset pass.
Services :
Can bicycles be rented at the campsite?
Yes, we have moutain bike, and electrical bike available for rental.
Can I hire a cot or high chair?
Yes, you can hire a baby kit consisting of a high chair, a cot and a bath (which cannot be separated).
Is there a nurse on the campsite, with first aid equipment and a room?
There is no nurse on site, but a first aid kit is available at reception. Die hospital is a 5-minute drive away.
Is there a nursery for young children?
We do not offer childcare for children.
Are barbecues available for hire?
We have two communal barbecues (8 fires) to be used with charcoal only and with the utmost caution. We are in a fire-risk zone and have an exemption to authorise barbecues.

Aside from the collective barbecues mentioned before, barbecues and fires are strictly forbidden on the campsite and on the banks of the Drôme.

When do you change empty gas cylinders?
We undertake to change your gas bottle between 8am and 9pm.
Is there a hotline if there are any problems with the accommodation?
You can ring if you have a life-threatening emergency outside reception opening hours.
Do I have to make an appointment to inspect the property when I leave?
You can choose to make an appointment no later than 2 days before your departure for the morning of your departure. You can also choose to leave the key and deposit with us. We will check the property the day after your departure and only come back to you if there are any problems. The deposit will be debited in the event of unpaid cleaning or undeclared breakages.
Is there a mini-market on the campsite?
We have a convenience store selling local produce in the bar-restaurant.
Is there a bread depot?
You can order bread and pastries for the following morning, to be ordered and collected from the bar-restaurant.

You can take the cleaning option. All you have to do is take the bins to the sorting office and put away the clean dishes.
Does the campsite have a laundry service?
You can rent sheets and towels, and there are 2 washing machines available for free use with a token to be purchased at reception.
Can I use my own washing powder in the laundry?
We supply the detergent with the machine token but tolerate special detergents.
